You want to make your living online right? Well make it easy on yourself and learn Internet marketing in way that will give you the results you want.
You can believe that it isn’t easy, but it is simple. And believe it or not most people never use it even though it stares them right in the face.
So what is it you ask? The curiosity is building, so let me tell you this principle for successful Internet marketing.
The drum roll please…..
It’s the concept of modeling. If you don’t know what to do and where to go, find a business that is already successful and simply model what they are doing.
It’s too simple right? In fact it really is.
To succeed it’s always a good idea to take what people have already had success with and apply it as your own Internet marketing strategy. Of course I’m not saying it’s alright to copy a businesses sales materials, what they have on their website, products exactly. In fact that’s just going to get you in a lot of hot water. I’m saying that ideas and techniques that stem from those ideas really can’t be copyrighted and to take a proven idea and use it in your Internet marketing strategy would be the smart thing to do.
If it’s working don’t try to fix it. If an idea can put more money in your pocket use it. In fact use it and you can try to improve on it to make it more successful. A good example that comes to my mind of using an already successful business model stems from the reality hit show American Idol.
This show is so successful that we have seen many copy cats in the last 3 or 4 years. These are other shows on different networks with a different theme, but the same format. You watch these shows and they have all the ingredients of the hit show. For example, the 3 judge panel with one female and two males. They make sure they have an outspoken male judge with an English or Australian accent. Well, we could probably put them side by side and see they are pretty much the same, but again a different theme and title.
All the other networks want to gain viewers so they follow the proven plan. We all snicker and shake our heads thinking about all these different shows, but the money is in the bank as viewers tune in again and again. They know what works and they’re not going to mess with success.
So go ahead and find a type of business you want to build and look for those in your industry that are having the success you want. Then follow the plan they have already laid out for you. But of course never, I mean never copy someone’s business word for word and get yourself into legal trouble. If you are ever in doubt, seek legal advice to stay out of trouble.
Here are some examples to help you understand the concept of modeling.
For one, If you see a lot of successful businesses providing bonuses with their products or services then it’s probably worth the time and effort to do the same. This in fact is one of the Internet marketing tips that should always be used. Keep in mind the bonus needs to fit tightly with the theme of your product and needs to be useful and great quality. Some people will buy your product more for the bonuses than for the product itself.
Another example is having A+ customer service. I deal with businesses that I know care about me. Be like all these other successful businesses and commit to giving superior customer service.
What about a prospect and customer list. Follow the lead of successful businesses and build the long term lifeline of your business. This needs to be on top of your priority list and take every opportunity to build a responsive list.
Take a proven successful business model and learn Internet marketing the right way by promoting a completely different product or service in another niche. You can always compete with the same people if you want to, but I would rather have the best opportunity and the least amount of competition.
Just think about all the people online that have no idea what they need to do to put it all together. If you can learn Internet marketing strategies and apply them in non-Internet marketing niches (bass fishing, scrap booking etc.) you can dominate a niche and have great success.
In summary, do your research and find a business that is doing things right and learn Internet marketing from them. Accelerate your progress while limiting potential business killing mistakes. If you do this, you will be well on your way to making money online.

If your like me, you’re always looking for Internet marketing tips and ideas so you can have internet business success and finally make money online.
So many people have the vision of owning and running their very own home based Internet marketing business. The thought of getting up in the morning and walking 20 or 30 feet to work versus a long commute is a dream come true. Generating a great income without the stresses of knowing if you will be able to pay the mortgage or car that month is priceless.
What keeps most people from really succeeding in a home business? I mean you would thing if they have a solid Internet marketing strategy and the drive they’ve got it made right?
There are many qualities a person needs to use when working on their own. The critical Internet marketing skill among many tips that I learned from a successful business man is the ability to focus. Focus? You got it right. This one trait is not implemented enough or developed with most people running their own home based business.
If you are going to be successful in your own business. You need to really listen closely and take this very seriously.
Before I started really focusing, I would work a lot, but never really get anything accomplished.
If something was difficult to do, I would end up distracting myself by reading my e-mails, looking at all the offers pouring into my email inbox or get caught up by all the new techniques, software and would end up not ever completing a single project all the way through.

If you want to make money online you need to really focus on money making tasks. You need to continually ask yourself if a particular task is bringing you closer to this end. If it is, great. If not, then stop and re-focus on what will. There are way too many distractions to pull you away from success, so don’t let them steal your time.
I’m going to tell you three things that I have done that will make you laser focused and really help you with your business.
1- It’s absolutely necessary to find a nice quiet work space somewhere in your house. Also you need to plan a block of time that’s set aside for work and nothing else. The goal is to work uninterrupted for that amount of time.
Let your family know that you are at work and you’re not to be interrupted. Believe me if you don’t create a space and set aside specific times to work on your Internet business, you won’t get anything done or make money online. That brings me to the next point
2-If you ever want to really progress in your home based business, you will always have specific goals to accomplish everyday to get from point A to Z. You need to sit down and write what you are going to attempt to accomplish for the day. Then you need to put each task in order of importance. You’re probably not going to get it all done, but the key here is that you are doing what’s most important for your business everyday, since you have prioritized your list.
When you have your all important list of tasks and have clear vision of what you need to do, then do it. Find a timer online or off line and set it for the time you are going to work. If you’re working for 3 hours for example, then set it for 1 hour and start working on each task and never stop until that buzzer goes off. Take a break and then do it again. The point? You work for 3 hours and breaks don’t count. You do this with great focus and you’ll amaze yourself at what you get done.
Like I said, you need to focus all your energies on what is on your list. Don’t answer the phone or read the the latest news or even the sizzling product offer in your email in box. Treat your home business as though you have your boss looking over your shoulder with a deadline to meet. Seriously your time needs to translate into dollars not just a bunch of busy work.
Finally, use a business journal. This has been so vital for my success. Just take a little time after your work day or night to record what you accomplished or didn’t.
Also write down what you know how to do and what your clueless about. It’s your own personal sounding board to keep you on track. It doesn’t have to take a long time. Just some time to record the day and then plan your next day. This will keep you more focused than any other way I can think of.
Remember, as a critical Internet marketing tip, focus is a key ingredient in your overall Internet marketing strategy. Planning your time and work space as well as having a prioritized list and keeping a business journal will make or break the success of your business.
